Privacy policy
How we handle your personal data.
Last updated: 6 November 2026
1. Data controller
The data controller is DP – Solution System d.o.o., Prešernova cesta 2 a, 6310 Izola (the “controller”), the official Jaltest distributor for Slovenia. Contact: info@dpss.si, +386 31 65 65 00.
2. What data we process and why
Inquiry / contact form. When you send us an inquiry, we process the data you enter: name, company, email address, phone number, the selected system and package, and your message. We use it to prepare an offer and answer your question. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Anonymous visit statistics. We record page views, selected actions (e.g. clicks on a link or video), device type and language, without cookies and without storing your IP address. The data is anonymous and is not linked to a person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website.
Remote technical support. If you use the link to TeamViewer, a connection is established between your computer and our technician through the TeamViewer service, which is a separate controller. You can end the connection at any time.
3. Cookies
The website does not need tracking cookies for basic operation and statistics. The consent tool (WPConsent) lets you choose which optional cookies you allow. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
Videos are loaded from YouTube (Google) only when you click on them; YouTube may then set its own cookies according to its own policies.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell data. Our employees and service providers (website and email hosting) have access to it, to the extent necessary to provide the service. For Jaltest products we may share basic inquiry data with the manufacturer Cojali, S.L. where this is necessary for your request.
5. Retention
We keep inquiry data until the inquiry is handled and then for up to 2 years, unless the law requires a longer period or a contract is concluded (in which case we keep data for the statutory periods). Anonymous statistics are kept for up to 18 months.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. Send your request to info@dpss.si. If you believe the processing does not comply with the rules, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si).
7. Security
We protect data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricted access.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
